What happens at Splash Babies Swimming lessons?
You and your baby are in the pool together sharing the multi-sensory experience. Designed for babies from four weeks to four years and over our swimming classes are divided into groups dependant on age and developmental milestones. Each lesson is designed to help your baby's development. This could be hand-eye co-ordination, visual development; breath control; speech and language; communication; posture and even balance.
Bonding Babies - 0 to 6 months
Bonding Babies lessons are for our newest arrivals. These lessons take a slow pace, concentrating on floatation with lots of supporting cuddles and communication. Bonding Babies gives you and your baby the perfect time to bond in a calm and friendly environment.
Little Splashers - 6 to 15 months
Little Splashers lessons are for babies beginning to explore. This is the perfect age to explore and start to splash and kick in the watery world.
Little Divers - 15 months to 2.5 years
Little Divers classes add to your baby's confidence and independence in the pool. The class teaches essential lifesaving skills, including the start of stroke techniques such as arm paddles, posture and bubbles.
Little Swimmers - 2.5 years+
The Little Swimmers class gives your child all the foundation knowledge, technique and independence to move on to our Splash Kids class. Further reinforcement of lifesaving skills are emphasized using floatation and stroke techniques.
